NYBG Orchid Dinner

We were honored to create a tablescape at the annual orchid dinner hosted by Veranda magazine. The event celebrates the opening of the Orchid Show, Singapore, and raises funds for the New York Botanical Garden.

Our inspiration was the Art Deco style of 1920s Singapore combined with the theatricality of Chinese opera. The elaborate orchid arrangement incorporated vintage headdresses from the Singapore Opera inlaid with pearls and blue enamel along with flowing tassels.

The tabletop design featured linens from Rogers and Goffigon, creamy china by Augarten porcelain and Lalique crystal.
