Traditionally the type of timber used vary with the different pieces of furniture. Our chairs are mainly made from birch or beech for strength while chests of drawers, sideboards, and cupboards are made from solid pine, free of knots; the drop leaf tables are made from solid birch. The production method is slightly more complicated for the dining room table tops with inserted leaves. To avoid any movement in the table tops and inserts we use birch or beech plywood. All table bolts are made from timber.
