The back of this oval box is inscribed" N.KRANTZ 1818 "and is surrounded by decorative foliage and flourishes. The interior lid has the faint inscription that reads "Per Anders 1848" and the side of the box is etched "P.A.S" and "N.Krans".

The hinges and lid are in perfect working condition. Rare.
